Do you know who originally played Maria in The Sound of Music on Broadway? Do you know who played her in the movie version? Or is it the same person? (Hint: It’s not the same person.)
Do you know every single word to Hamilton or Guys and Dolls or Into the Woods? Can you name all those colors in Joseph’s coat?
Are all of these facts bouncing around in your head simply because you love musicals?

Yes! You can have teams of up to four people. But you don’t need to have a team if you prefer to fly solo.
We may or may not be awarding a special prize for best team or individual name.
Here’s why we’re doing this:
We love musicals (obviously) and we love the CU community, and we figured this would be a great way to get together and share our love of theater. Plus, it gives musical theatre enthusiasts to get to know other musical theater people in town and geek out about their favorite shows.
Another reason? We want to continue to improve and provide great experiences for the CU theater community, and that requires funding. Ticket sales don’t cover most of our operating costs and so we’re using this trivia night as a fundraiser to help with things like performance rights, costumes, microphone batteries, facility rentals… all that stuff. We are here for you and we appreciate your support!
